Term 3 Week 10, 2022
From our Leadership
Dear St Joseph's Community,
At our school, we place a great emphasis on student wellbeing and one of our central beliefs is that students 'come to school to better themselves, not to be better than others'. As such, fostering wellness, self-confidence and self-worth assists students to have a greater capacity to learn and grow in God's love.
Wellbeing at St Joseph’s is promoted and supported in many ways: whole school relationships, programs such as Cool Kids, sharing joy, personnel such as our Wellbeing Team and School Counsellor and student leadership to name a few.
Together we are inspired and empowered to meaningfully connect with other people so that all can fulfil our school Mission:
'May have life - life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10).
Farewell
We farewelled Rebekah Kelly and Nicole Burrows at Monday's assembly with some clever poems written by the students.
This prayer was also shared.
Teachers Term 4 and beyond
After interviews for two permanent positions at our school we are pleased to offer Carly Cormick and Michelle Vidler them and to our relief they accepted! Congratulations! I thank our Catholic Schools Office Regional Consultant for also being a part of our panel.
