Bertie the Therapy Dog and Nicole the Educational Support Worker helping to make sense of the world around us!
Prior to starting Paws 4 Learning and working as a Support Worker I worked within the education system for 11 years as a Teacher, Assistant Principal and Inclusive Education Coordinator. I have worked with many students and their families to help them navigate the school system and ensure that their child feels safe, cared for and able to access the lessons being taught.
I enjoy working with teachers and parents to ensure individual programs are written to suit the needs and goals for children. I am passionate about making sure all children feel supported as they learn to understand the world around them, no matter what lense they see it through.
My hope for all children is that they get to experience learning in a way that suits them and that's where Bertie and I can work together to come up with a plan that works for you or someone you know.
Is young medium-sized Groodle who loves being around humans and helping to put a smile on their faces. She is a Therapy Dog and together we provide a form of animal therapy that helps everyone we meet. We have fun working together to help humans young and old to feel safe and comfortable as they learn new skills and explore the world around them.
As a team, we work together and use each other's strengths to help provide a calm and safe environment for everyone that we meet. We love having a laugh and making our learning adventures fun for all that are involved.
